Great steak house, good atmosphere and supreme service Located in Kernersville, this restaurant highlights one of the best steak houses around. A place to come back to If you are in the Piedmont Triad area definitely check it out ! PS: the banana pudding cheesecake is the cherry on top ! Highly recommended
The food and service were really good. We had the onion string things as an appetizer. Then my husband had the prime rib and I had the lamb. The lamb was cooked well, but the sauce was some sort of wine sauce that I didn't really care for. It had a strong alcohol taste. I don't fault them for that because that is just my personal preference. I'm sure there are plenty of people that do enjoy it. Our waitress was really attentive and our drinks stayed full. The only real complaint we have was that it was FREEZING. Be sure to have long sleeves! I don't really feel like it was better than any other steakhouse. Not bad, not amazing. Just good. And cold. Very cold.
My first time here. Boyfriend had been telling me how great this place was and I finally got to try it on our 10 month anniversary and let me say the food and the service was wonderful. I got a ribeye medium rare with sauteed mushrooms as my side and they both were phenomenal I definitely want to go back again and again and our waiter Trey was a wonderful addition to the experience.
Out West in Kernersville is officially THAT place. The food was amazing from start to finish — flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. But let me talk about what really stole the show… the Salted Caramel Apple Martini. Baby. When I tell you this was hands down one of the best martinis I’ve ever had, I mean that. Perfectly balanced, smooth, not overly sweet, and just the right amount of salted caramel flavor. As a self-proclaimed martini girl, I do not say that lightly. They nailed it. The vibe was great, the service was on point, and that martini alone is enough to bring me back. If you’re in Kernersville, do yourself a favor and go. And do NOT leave without ordering that Salted Caramel Apple Martini. Trust me. 🍸✨
OutWest is truly a hidden gem in the High Point, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem area. Tucked away in Kernersville, it is genuinely one of the best steakhouses around. The food is consistently excellent, fairly priced, and worth every penny. On top of that, you couldn't ask for a friendlier staff, TOP NOTCH!! My family and I eat here almost weekly, and one of the things we love most is seeing the staff and catching up with everyone. Carrie Anne and Kristen are two of our favorites. Customer service is definitely not lost on either of them. They are always on the move, making sure every guest has everything they need and that you don't just like your meal, you love it. We recommend OutWest to all of our local friends and family, as well as anyone visiting the area. If you're wondering what to order, some of our favorites are the ribs, steaks, and grilled chicken dipped in BBQ sauce. And don't skip the Brussels sprouts, they are absolutely delicious! My only tiny complaint is that the current dessert special, the Tiramisu Cheesecake, just isn't quite as amazing as some of their previous cheesecake specials. I'm patiently waiting for the next dessert rotation! But seriously, do yourself a favor and give OutWest a try. I promise you won't regret it.
First time here and I was impressed. Ribeye was great, cooked exactly the way I like. My wife had the Filet with the Portabello creamy garlic sauce.
three words...AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. this was our first visit and it was awesome. The food was very delicious. we started out with the grilled chicken nachos. my husband had the salmon and i had the grouper. very nice and inviting atmosphere, and our server, Elissa was very kind and helpful. she offered menu suggestions which was on point. she made our dining experience much more pleasant. we would definitely recommend this restaurant. this is a definite keeper
Food & service was amazing. We were told the desserts are all made in house. I don’t have Photos, but we chose a cheesecake, moose Oreo, dessert to go and it was excellent. They have a lot of drink offerings, and they are quite generous on the alcohol. Perfect spot for all occasions or celebrating anyone special:) I had the lamb and it was delicious. NOTE: parking can be a bit hectic finding a spot during when they first open for the day on a Saturday. Just keep that in mind. We showed up around 4:45pm on a Saturday and we had to wait an hour & 20 minutes for a table for four.
First time visitors and it was Valentine’s Day too. They don’t take reservations. Got there early before opening and there was still a line outside. Once inside was quoted a wait of 2 hrs but was seated in 90 minutes. Most ppl just wait in their cars. Had onion strings and potato wedges to kick things off. Both were good but eat the onions while hot. The dip with it was great! I had the grouper and shrimp dish which was excellent. I included rice and asparagus with a crab cake for fun! All were good. The asparagus was hot and still crunchy the way I like it and seasoned perfectly. My wife had the Texas spiced prime rib with Brussels sprouts and she loved it. The German chocolate cake is homemade and very good.
Friendly place! We were there on Valentine’s Day! They do not take reservations! We got there at 4:30 line was around the building! Got in pretty quick to put in our name! Hostess said it would be a 2:00 hour wait! We were seated in about an hour and twenty minutes! We had two appetizers, onion strings and crispy potato wedges, I had The Texas Spiced Prim rib, with Brussels sprouts it did not disappoint! My husband had the Grouper with jumbo shrimp, rice and roasted asparagus, we both enjoyed our meal! The German be Chocolate Cake for dessert was fresh homemade and delicious! Great prices for Valentine’s Day! We will be back!
